Safe Bath LI offers many ways to make bathing in your own home safe and enjoyable again, now and for years to come. From the simple installation of grab bars to a complete bathroom remodel, we specialize in converting your current unsafe bath into a very accessible and safe walk-in shower.

We offer a few different options to suit any need, from the basic budget insert to the full front cut and bench. We detail each of the options we offer and invite you to call with any questions or for a free consultation.

We are a Long Island family-owned and -operated company serving a wide range of Northeastern states. Our goal is to help as many seniors and disabled people as possible.

ABOUT US

BUDGET INSERT

With this option, we cut a 20 to 24” section out of your existing bathtub. We then custom fit a factory molded insert to allow you safe and secure walk in access for showering. This is our most affordable conversion option. Available in either white or beige color.

BASIC CUT AND MATCH

With this option, we cut a 20 to 36” section out of your existing bathtub. We then custom make and install a waterproof polycrylic material to the shape and contour of the tub. We then spray a glazing coating to match the existing tubs’ color as best as possible. This option allows many different color possibilities.

CUT AND BATHE

With this option, we cut a 20” section out of your existing bathtub. We then custom fit a factory molded insert with a “door” that will allow you a safe and secure walk in access for showering, plus with the removable “door” you can still fill the tub and use as a bath. Available in either white or beige color.

With this option, we cut an 18 to 24” section out of your existing bathtub. We then custom make and install a waterproof polycrylic material to the shape and contour of the tub, We then spray a glazing coating to match the existing tubs’ color as best as possible. We then finally install a custom made hinged shower door that allows you to walk into the tub and enjoy a nice enclosed shower.

FULL FRONT CUT

With this option, we cut out the whole front of your existing bathtub. We then custom make and install a waterproof polycrylic material to create a shower base style opening. We then spray a glazing coating to match the existing tub’ color as best as possible. Finally we install a custom made full sliding shower door. This option allows you to have that open shower base feel at a fraction of the cost of replacing the tub and tile.

We offer a safety package for all the options we provide. This includes two standard safety bars, a white non-slip bathmat, and a shower liner and curtain when needed.

All cuts except the full front cut can be restored back to the original use as a bathtub.

Construction is done in 1 day, and you can shower the next day. There’s no construction mess or fuss.

We leave your home as clean as before we started.

I was very impressed with the work performed cutting my Bathtub and converting it into a Walk-In Shower. Now I have a Bathtub with a door for bathing and I can walk into my shower. Michael was so nice . I needed to get this done quickly because I was having Hip replacement Surgery. The work was done within a few hours and they cleaned up and left my bathroom clean. Mike & his brother, Adam, installed a total of 16 grab bars in three bathrooms and showers. All were performed to perfection in a timely manner, including use of drop cloths and clean up of the work areas. Incidentally, pricing was quite reasonable compared to other quotes I received.
